Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troopers escorted a massive oil refinery reactor weighing nearly half a million pounds, loaded in Sand Springs before its journey to an out-of-state refinery.

As part of their duties, the troopers help ensure the safe transportation of oversized loads.

The journey for the reactor is expected to take a week to complete.
