Tulsa Police Arrest Armed Suspect After Disturbance At Walgreens

Tulsa police arrested a man after he allegedly brandished a gun and ordered staff to lock a Walgreens with customers still inside.

Tulsa police responded to a disturbance call at the Walgreens near 31st Street and Garnett Road around 9 p.m. on Saturday.

Witnesses said Dwayne Lee pulled out a gun and demanded staff to lock the door with several customers inside.

When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered a loaded Smith & Wesson pistol in a trash can.

A loaded .38-caliber revolver was also found in a pickup truck Lee reportedly drove to the location.

Lee, who has an outstanding warrant, is on probation for child neglect until 2028, according to police. He remains in custody as the investigation continues.
