Pottawatomie Man Charged With Wife's Murder Expected In Court

A Pottawatomie County man accused of killing his wife in 2023 is expected to return to the courtroom on Friday, according to court documents.

Investigators say in September of 2023, Frank Byers shot and killed Makayla Meave, then dumped her body in a culvert near the couple's Macomb home.

Byers has continued to maintain his innocence. His hearing is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m.
