1 Killed In Pottawatomie Co. Crash

One person is dead after a crash Sunday night in Pottawatomie County, according to police.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said shortly after 8 p.m., a vehicle driven by 19-year-old Darren Anderson of Shawnee was traveling on State Highway 3E.

OHP said the cause of the crash is unknown, but Anderson was injured while a passenger, 23-year-old Jacob Anderson, was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

OHP says a second vehicle driven by 47-year-old Larry Clemens of Moore was also involved in the crash. Clemens was transported to the hospital for his injuries.

Darren Anderson and Clemens are expected to survive.
