US-62 Reopened After Newcastle Semi-Truck Crash

A wreck involving two semi-trucks on Monday resulted in the closure of US-62 in Newcastle, according to authorities.

Newcastle Police said two semi-trucks wrecked along US-62 near Northeast 19th Place.

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation said all lanes of southbound US-62 were closed while crews cleared the scene, but all lanes have since been reopened.

The cause of the wreck is not yet known.

There were no injuries.
