Norman Power Outage Caused By Vehicle Crash

A neighborhood in Norman is without power Tuesday morning after a vehicle crash in the area.

The Norman Police Department responded to the scene of the crash located near 24th Avenue Southeast and Wheatland Drive.

Both of the southbound lanes of 24th Avenue Southeast have been closed while crews work to clear the scene.

A vehicle involved in the wreck struck a power pole in the area, impacting residents living in a nearby neighborhood.

OG&E crews responded to the scene to restore power to the area.

It is unknown if there are any injuries.
