A man involved in a vehicle crash on Tuesday in Norman is asking for help in locating the other driver responsible.
20-year-old Nathan James was traveling down 24th Avenue Southeast when he said a car turning in the area near Wheatland Drive struck him, causing him to jump the curb and strike a power pole.
The resulting damage to the pole caused a brief power outage at around 6 a.m. in a nearby neighborhood.

Norman Police originally described the crash as a single-vehicle wreck, but James says that is not the case.
Now, James says he is the victim of a hit-and-run, and the other driver should be held accountable.
"I think it's pretty irresponsible of them," James said. "I mean, if I were to hit somebody, I wouldn't just leave them."
James said after the impact, he lept out of his vehicle while sparks from the power lines above him rained down onto him.
Though his airbags deployed, James said he suffers minor back pain, and his vehicle is a total loss.
James says witnesses to the hit-and-run told police what they had seen, but now says he hopes someone will be held responsible.
If you have any details about the crash, you are asked to call Norman Police.
