Police release additional information regarding southeast OKC motel shooting

After a shooting left one person injured on Tuesday, police are releasing more information regarding the incident at a southeast Oklahoma City motel.

Oklahoma City Police said officers responded to the shooting near Southeast 44th Street and Interstate 35, where officers said they found one person shot.

OCPD said that the victim was transported to the hospital, but investigators said the victim reported a woman who brought him to her room.

After arriving at the room, OCPD said the victim told them he found another man inside and tried to get away before being shot in the back.

OCPD said the suspect, the woman, and another person left the scene in a red car.

The victim's condition is unknown, and no arrests have been made at this time.
