Oklahoma City’s dining scene continues to grow, with several exciting restaurants set to open in 2025. From Laotian noodle bowls to Southern comfort food with a modern twist, here’s a look at what’s on the horizon for local food lovers:

Mesero
Mesero, a contemporary Tex-Mex restaurant based in Dallas, will soon come to Oklahoma City.
This restaurant is expected to open in the Spring of 2025 at OAK OKC near 5101 N Pennsylvania Ave.
The restaurant currently has seven locations across two states. This will be its first and only location in Oklahoma.
Cantaritos Mexican Grill (Midwest City)
Cantaritos Mexican Grill, known for serving traditional Mexican cuisine, is expanding with a second location in the Oklahoma City metro.
The new restaurant will open in Midwest City, joining its existing location at Penn Square Mall. The exact address and opening date have not yet been announced.
Lorena OKC
Lorena, a Southern restaurant with a “modern twist,” will debut in northwest Oklahoma City at 207 N. Walker Ave., Oklahoma City, OK 73103.
The restaurant is slated to open in early 2025, though a specific date has not been set.

Elisabetta
Elisabetta, an Italian-inspired restaurant and bar located at 7300 N. Western in Nichols Hills, opened on February 28, 2025, according to their social media pages.
Operated by 84 Hospitality—the team behind Empire Slice, Burger Punk, and Goro Ramen—Elisabetta offers a menu featuring handcrafted pasta and elevated Italian dishes.
Highlights include Mezze Rigatoni with cured San Marzano tomato sauce and toasted breadcrumbs, Spicy Cavatelli in a vodka sauce with chili and Parmesan, and Lobster Tortoloni stuffed with shrimp and lobster in a lemon tarragon butter sauce.
For entrées, guests can enjoy dishes like the Pan-Seared Sea Bass with marinated artichokes and salsa verde, a Crispy Pork Chop with sweet & sour onions and shaved Parmesan, or the indulgent 20oz Prime Strip, simply grilled and served with rosemary bone marrow butter.
