The social media post refers to a video posted by the Oklahoma Predator Prevention group. The group says its mission is to expose child predators and often does so by ambushing potential suspects live on social media.
What Superintendent Ryan Walters says about the investigation
Tuesday, Walters sent a statement to News 9 about the investigation into a Yukon teacher.
“This incident is deeply concerning and highlights the need for continued vigilance in protecting our children from predatory behavior,” Walters said in a statement.
Walters went on to say his department is working with law enforcement and will continue to take action to protect students.
***Editor’s note: News 9 is not naming the teacher involved because they have not been arrested or charged with a crime.***
