ODOC searches for inmate who escaped McAlester corrections center

The Oklahoma Department of Corrections is searching for an inmate who walked away from Jackie Brannon Corrections Center in McAlester.

ODOC says Hunter Bowers walked away from the correction center around 8:53 p.m. Thursday.

Bowers is serving a six-year sentence for domestic assault and battery with a weapon out of Choctaw County.

If you see Bowers or know his whereabouts, call 911. Do not approach.
