OU Softball's home opener commences following winter weather delay

Saturday marks the rescheduled home opener for the University of Oklahoma softball team against Tulsa, following a delay caused by winter weather.

The game was postponed due to unsafe field conditions caused by snow and ice. Field maintenance crews were unable to prepare the field in time.

First pitch for the game is set for 3 p.m. Saturday.

The game also marks a new era for OU softball, as many key seniors graduated last season.
