Oklahoma's Monday wildfire outbreak challenged state firefighting personnel's strained resources and manpower. In order to compensate, specialized firefighting aircraft known as 'Super Scoopers' were deployed in order to combat the raging wildfires.

These planes played a crucial role in slowing the spread of the flames. Fire crews on the ground worked alongside the aircraft to contain the fires, and the Super Scoopers' ability to quickly reload its tanks from nearby water sources allowed for continuous aerial support for ground crews.

Several viewers sent in video of the Super Scoopers in action, refueling their tanks at Lake Arcadia.
