Seven injured after head-on collision, vehicle catches fire in Yukon

Seven people were transported to the hospital after a head-on collision caused two vehicles to catch fire in Yukon, police said.

Police said the collision happened near Southwest 15th Street and South Cimarron Road.

Authorities say that at least one child was in one of the vehicles.

Of the seven people hospitalized, three sustained serious injuries, according to police.

The fire has been brought under control.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
