The Oklahoma City Police Department arrested two people following a deadly brawl.

Saturday, just after midnight Oklahoma City Police responded to an event center near southwest 20th and Portland.

“When they arrived, they found an unconscious victim,” said Lt. Dustin Motley, Oklahoma City Police.

The victim, Tommy Benson, 47, was rushed to the hospital.

“That victim was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries,” said Motley.

Police said the fight began inside the event center but continued after both parties were escorted outside.

While hundreds had been gathered for an R&B concert following the incident police said witnesses were scarce.

“After the fight concluded the event cleared out leaving us with limited witnesses,” said Motley.

After reviewing surveillance video from the business--police determined the victim had been struck in the head with a chair.

“This was a physical fight, hands and feet and the victim dies as a result of that,” said Motley.

Monday, police arrested Jarmey Jones, and Mario Glover on a second-degree murder complaint.

Both men are being held on a $10 million bond.

Benson is described as a beloved husband and father. Friends have organized a GoFundMe to help pay for his funeral expenses.

Police continue to ask witnesses to come forward with information--or video of the incident.
