An easy side dish to make from scratch!
Ingredients
- 2 cups of cornmeal
- 2 cups of all purpose flour
- 1 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 TSP of baking powder
- 1/2 TSP of salt
- Cornbread: 1 1/3 cup of prepped mix, 1/4 cup of melted butter, 1/2 cup of buttermilk and 1 large egg
Instructions
- Mix: Add cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt to a bowl and mix.
- Store: You can store this for later.
- Before baking: Mix 1 1/3 cup of prepped mix, 1/4 cup of melted butter, 1/2 cup of buttermilk and 1 large egg
- Bake: Bake at 400 degrees for around 20-25 minutes.
