I didn’t know quite what to expect with Kevin Stitt's first State of the State Address, but he sounded like a businessman wanting more hiring and firing authority, talking about taxpayers as customers. And he was undeniably enthusiastic.
Here's what you had to say:
First, Nancy in Muskogee says, "I didn't vote for the Republican candidates, however, I am giving our new governor a chance to repair our state and I hope others do too."
But Angi says, "I'm a Republican and he was talking in circles"
Janie writes, "I like what he's done this far and hope he continues to help our state out of the financial hole we're in."
Gary from Perkins, "A breath of fresh air coming out of the Oklahoma State Capitol!"
Gail says, "We tuned in and wish him the best. He has some great objectives and I pray he can accomplish much."
Falecia chimes in, "I'm looking forward to seeing what comes for us. We definitely need a new course!"
Jon writes, "I pray he is a better governor than the last and I hope he does a lot for education."
Heather taking a wait and see attitude says, "Let’s see what he says and does by November. Wolf can only hide for so long."
Finally, from Kay, "Give him a chance before you start the hate. He just might do a good job. So far, I like what his saying."
