I was taken last week by the number of stories we aired that included references to Oklahoma City Mayor Holt being involved. He was all over the place - from riding Oklahoma City's new streetcars Sunday with his children, to cutting the cake at a celebration in South Oklahoma City.

And when Fort Sill Troops were stranded at Will Rogers Airport, who showed up but Mayor Holt with hundreds of Krispy Kreme donuts for breakfast. The mayor then took the leftover donuts to the street department to feed the drivers out sanding the roads, and he decided to jump in for a ride along that he posted on social media.

And remember, it's a part time job that pays only $24,000 a year.

His secretary sent me a copy of his schedule for the last 40 days or so, and it's packed with meetings, appearances, luncheons and dinner banquets.

Look at Thursday, it’s almost an average day for Mayor Holt. He starts with a speech at 8:30 in the morning, then a meeting, a tour of the city and another meeting. And he'll end the day at a black-tie optional banquet at 6 p.m.

I asked him how he does it all and spends time with his young family and his real job.  He said good time management and efficient use of every moment, and he added that he still has a lot of energy. And I'd say a real love for Oklahoma City.

I'm Kelly Ogle and that's My 2 Cents.
