A Vietnam War veteran who just moved from Colorado last week says just about everything he owns has been stolen.
Mike Prunsky is a 63-year-old aircraft mechanic who recently accepted a job at Will Rogers World Airport.
Prunsky said he spent the night of Aug. 29 with a new coworker at that coworker’s apartment at Woodscape Apartments at 4200 N Meridian Avenue.
He said when he got up the next morning, he discovered a large trailer containing all of his belongings had been stolen from the Woodscape parking lot.
He said that trailer contained his $42,000 Harley Davidson motorcycle, and $10,000 in tools he needs for his new job.
“And all of my training certificates everything is gone, and I have nothing to show for it. They’ve got my checkbook and all of my personal information. My passport, computers, everything. Everything was in that trailer,” Prunsky said.
Honoring America’s Warriors Executive Director Scotty Dee is working to get Prunsky emergency housing.
He said those who want to help Prunsky should go to honoringamericaswarriors.org.
Dee said people can also donate by going to Honoring America’s Warriors’ Facebook page.
