A small earthquake shook near the town of Mooreland, Okla. Friday night.
The 3.2 magnitude temblor was recorded at approximately 9:32 p.m., 17 miles east northeast of the town of Mooreland, or about 106 miles northwest of the OKC metro area, at a depth of just less than four miles.
There have been no reports of damage or injuries associated with this quake.
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely with quakes at magnitudes of 4.0 and greater.
