OKLAHOMA CITY -- A popular bar in midtown says it's back in business following a weekend fire.
News 9 was told that McNellie's would remain closed until the health department could investigate what happened. But overnight, the bar posted on its Facebook page that it will be back open on Monday for business.

On Sunday, an oven in the kitchen had a gas leak and that's what started a very small fire. An employee in the kitchen did suffer a first degree burn to the hand and was taken to a hospital to get that looked at.
Customers there at the time were evacuated from the building.
Sunday night, the business posted this message on its Facebook page, "Sorry about earlier everyone, but we are back open for business! Come join us for a beer!"
McNellie's did have some flooding because of the sprinklers that went off at the time of the fire.
Other than that, not much damage.
McNellie's Group Company Officials released the following statement,
"McNellie's Oklahoma City is open and operating business as usual. A mobile cooking device malfunctioned, causing our sprinkler system to activate. We closed for a few hours to allow proper inspections by the Health Department. There is no gas leak and the building is completely safe for customers and staff."
