Kevin Wilsons departure for Hoosierland quickly snapped Sooner Nation out of the post-Big 12 Championship euphoria. It is indeed now officially THAT time of year. The time of year that makes me want to beat my head against a wall. The time of year that makes me wish I was a bear so I could hibernate for the next few weeks. Its officially coaching carousel time.

Unfortunately Sooner (and Cowboy) fans...Im afraid were just getting started. Add Florida to Miami as big-time schools now in need of head coaches. Pitt needs a boss as well. And OU and Texas are in the hunt for offensive coordinators. And with each job filled....another comes open.

Armageddon scenario: Bob Stoops to Florida...Brent Venables to Miami...Dana Holgorsen calling plays for Texas.

More likely scenario: Stoops stays put...Florida hires Dan Mullen...Venables and Holgorsen are mentioned in the mix at Mississippi State.

Least likely scenario: We go through the next four weeks without any rumors. HA!

Time to dust off the rolodex of unnamed sources.

Grab a pencil...sharpen it...and stick it in my eye. The carousel has started.
