One of the really cool things that you can see every night for the first 100 days is a light show right before Gathering Place closes at 10 p.m.

They have the light show set up already.

Some of their other 100 days programming include an opening day concert by the Roots from the Tonight Show, along with four other shows that day.

But in the following days, there will be bands from just about every genre, gospel, reggae, Native American and hip hop.

The QuikTrip Great Lawn by the way can seat 5,000 people for free concerts.

There is also story time for kids at the Reading Tree, a 100-year-old Cottonwood that's the park's oldest tree.

So really the only thing you'll be missing out if you can't make it opening weekend, is the opening day crowd.

If you don't have a chance to make it to Tulsa's Gathering Place during the opening weekend, park officials say there will still be plenty to visit over the next several months. The park assures everyone that there will be plenty to do, thanks to their 100 days of programming.
