Coyle Public Schools Superintendent of Schools Terry Zink has tested positive for COVID-19, according to a letter sent to Coyle Public School parents on Wednesday.

Coyle Public Schools Superintendent of Schools Terry Zink has tested positive for COVID-19, according to a letter sent to Coyle Public School parents on Wednesday.

In the letter, the district encouraged all parents to pick up their children from school. The school will be closed Thursday for a school-wide deep cleaning.

CPS said its virtual learning option will begin Aug. 24 and is expected to welcome students back in-person on Aug. 31. The district said its Aug. 31 return date could be subject to change.
