Officials from the Oklahoma State Health Department have said that most of Oklahoma's tribes have opted to get the COVID-19 vaccine through the federal government, but individual tribal members can still get the vaccine from the state if they want.
Keith Reed from the OSDH said, "We're not putting a wall up and turning any tribal members away that come into a health department and meet our priority populations to get served."
Tribes working with the federal government will get their allotment of the COVID-19 vaccine from the Indian Health Service.
