Veteran Salute: Rick Cardwell

News On 6 is continuing to recognize veterans across Green Country who are making a difference in their communities.

Today, we recognize Army veteran Rick Cardwell.

Rick served in Vietnam and later served with the Army Reserve in Clinton, Oklahoma.

Although the Army was not a life-long career, helping other veterans has been.

As a member of the Paralyzed Veterans of America in Muskogee, he's worked with the group to help other veterans navigate their VA benefits.
