Horse Rider & Horse Both Shot In MWC Drive-By Shooting

Police are investigating a shooting Tuesday after a man and his horse were shot in Midwest City.

When officers arrived, they found the male victim sitting on a lawn bleeding.

The victim told officers he was riding his horse around the neighborhood when a vehicle passing by fired shots striking him and the horse before driving away.

Officers said the victim’s brother arrived with a trailer to take the horse to an animal urgent care.

The man suffered non-life threatening injuries, police said.
