An Oklahoma City pilot is facing up to five year in prison after pleading guilty to bringing a firearm from Mexico to Oklahoma.

According to the DOJ, the 31 year old pilot, Aiman Elkhatib, was stopped at Sundance Airport in Yukon last April after he failed to stop for a customs inspection.

He admitted he flew from Mexico through Texas to Yukon in a plane he knew contained a firearm.

He previously pleaded guilty to stealing a car and second-degree burglary. He faces a sentence of five years with a $250,000 fine.
