OKCPS students at Taft Middle School and Taft 5th Grade Center are a week away from the last day of school but they won't be in the classroom.

Because of a large number of COVID-19 cases and exposures, they will spend the remainder of the school year learning online.

Here is what those students and families need to know.

The students will be learning virtually by using synchronous instruction. This means that students will receive live-virtual instruction from their teachers.

Students should log in from home using their device based on their school or class schedule.

Another note for parents; starting Wednesday, curbside meal service will be provided at both Taft Middle School and Taft 5th Grade Center at Linwood.

Families are encouraged to drive-thru and pickup breakfast and lunch at no cost for their students any time between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
