Grady County Office Of Emergency Management Implementing Wildland Automatic Response Protocols

The Grady County Office of Emergency Management has announced they will be implementing their wildland automatic response protocols until further notice.

The GCSO said they would issue WAR Days when outside humidity is forecasted to be 20% or lower with winds forecasted to be 20 mph or higher.

The phrase WAR Day was used several years ago for similar weather conditions, according to the GCSO.
