Chelsea Fire Department issued a "water war" on the town's citizens on Monday. From young to old, no one was spared!

The community was more than willing to get involved and many people armed themselves with water guns, water balloons, water hoses, even buckets of water to fight back.

The firefighters were armed with six brush trucks and stopped to refill several times. Chelsea's Mayor even participated.

Fire Chief Craig Sampson said he came up with the idea after seeing Hennessey firefighters host one for their town.
