US Mint Announces 5 Honorees For 2024 American Women Quarters Program

The United States Mint has announced the five honorees for the 2024 American Women Quarters Program. 

The five honorees include:

1. Writer and activist Pauli Murray.
2. Patsy Takemoto Mink, the first woman of color to serve in Congress.
3. Civil War era surgeon and abolitionist Dr. Mary Edwards Walker.
4. Cuban-American singer Celia Cruz.
5. Writer, composer and political activist Zitkala-Ša
