Issue Impacting 911 Calls In Oklahoma City Resolved, Police Say

UPDATE: The Oklahoma City Police Department said the issue impacting calls to the 911 Communications center has been resolved Sunday evening.

Oklahoma City Police said the 911 Communications Center is having issues receiving calls.

OKCPD posted a statement on social media Sunday evening.

Our 911 Communications Center is currently having intermittent issues receiving calls. Please, if you have an emergency keep trying as calls might take more than one attempt."

Police are asking anyone with an emergency to call multiple times to ensure it goes through.
