There has always been some kind of gap in weather radar coverage for southeast Oklahoma.
Durant, Oklahoma, in Bryan County was in that area without good radar coverage until the City decided to buy it's own doppler radar, costing $1.6 million.
News On 6's Emory Bryan had more about the radar and the impact it will have in the city of 50,000 people.
