Elote's Cinco de Mayo festival is happening Friday and Saturday in downtown Tulsa.
From lucha libre wrestling, chihuahua racing, and parachute tacos, Elote is going all out to celebrate Cinco de Mayo.
Part of downtown is blocked off for the two-day festival that kicked off Friday afternoon and continues until 11 p.m.
You can catch lucha libre wrestling, Latin American style wrestling where the competitors wear masks.
New this year, you can also catch a flying taco. Ninety tacos will be thrown from the roof of Elote on parachutes.
You can kick back, celebrate the holiday with a margarita, and spend time with friends and family.
The chihuahua races are on Saturday. Pet owners can sign up before and 10 dogs will race at a time.
There will be chihuahua costume contests and there's a trophy for the chihuahua with the best tongue.
"Tomorrow we're doing the whole thing again, but it's from 11 to 11. So, we have kids activities, we have more lucha libre wrestling, which is so fun. And we also have ballet folklorico from 7 to 10, which is traditional Mexican dancing," Billings said.
The festival starts back up at 11 a.m. on Saturday. There will be activities for the kids as well.
