Sooners' WR Andrel Anthony Out For Year

Oklahoma is still celebrating its dramatic 34-30 win over Texas on Saturday, but the Sooners were dealt some tough news on Monday.

Wide receiver Andrel Anthony will have season-ending surgery, head coach Brent Venables said.

The Michigan transfer has been terrific for OU with 429 yards on 27 catches and one touchdown.

Against the Longhorns, Anthony hauled in five catches for 42 yards. His biggest game of the season came at Cincinnati with seven catches for 117 yards.
