Wanenmacher Arms Show: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. This is the world's largest firearms show, with 4,200 tables full of firearms, swords, knives, and other items on display and for sale.You can also bring your own weapons for appraisal, to sell, or to trade.
Billy Sims Meet and Greet: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday. Your chance to meet OU Sooner legend Billy Sims at the Billy Sims BBQ in Sand Springs. There will be $5-99 pulled pork sandwiches with a side and drink. The first 25 veterans who have their military ID will get a free shirt.
Veteran's Day Events:
The city of Collinsville has a Veteran's Day parade and appreciation ceremony from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, with the parade starting at 11.
Muskogee has its Veterans Day ceremony at 11 a.m. Saturday
Skiatook's parade is at 11 as well.
Free Meals:
Stutts House of BBQ in Tulsa on east Apache is offering free meals to Veterans and responders from 2p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday.
On the Menu are Ribs, Chicken Bologna, Baked Beans, and a Kool-Aid pie.
Hafli Lebanese Food Festival: The Hafli Lebanese food festival continues today at the Saint Antony Orthodox Christian Church until 9 p.m. Saturday.
There will be a Lebanese dinner with grilled chicken and seasoned rice, and it includes a cabbage roll, tabbouleh, hummus, pita, and a greba butter cookie. It's $8 for kids and adults are $18.
McNellie's Pub Run: For those looking for some exercise and maybe a little day drinking, the McNellie's Pub Run is Saturday at 3 p.m. It kicks off at the Blue Dome Fleet Feet. You can register on the McNellie's website.
Time Travelers Vintage Expo: For all who like vintage items and things from the past. The Time Travelers Vintage Expo is happening at Cain's Ballroom on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. This event has been carefully curated and features over 40 vendors offering a range of vintage clothing, retro-inspired handmade goods, home décor and more.
Just "BeClaus" Christmas Silent Auction: The Claremore Robson Performing Arts Center is hosting a silent auction where people can bid on arts and crafts to support their local theatre. The event will be held at the Performing Arts Center from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
Outsider House Coat Drive: In exchange for your gently used coats and jackets, The Outsider House is offering complimentary admission to the museum. Garments will be donated to the Tulsa Day Center, they will be open to collect coats from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
