Description
Try Sassy Mama's quick hot fudge sauce recipe. This recipe is the perfect topping for any dessert.
Ingredients
- 6 ounces semi-sweet or bittersweet chocolate chips, coarsely chopped
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons salted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract
- ⅛ teaspoon salt I like to use a flaky sea salt
- ½ - 2/3 cup half & half, hot
Instructions
- Scald Half and Half: Heat the half and half on the stovetop till scalded (not boiling).
- Blend: Place all of the remaining ingredients in the blender. Pour the warm half and half in the blender on low to medium speed until it becomes smooth. Add additional warm milk to thin as desired.
- Storage: Store the hot fudge in an airtight container and place in the refrigerator till you are ready to use. Rewarm hot fudge sauce in the microwave before using.
