As residents across Oklahoma begin to wake up Thursday morning, many are finding damage leftover from storms that formed Wednesday night.

Winds as high as 75 miles per hour were reported to have hit around 12 a.m. on Thursday, which is when most of the damage happened.

News 9 viewer Heather Farmer said her car is trapped until a felled tree can be removed from her property near Northwest 122nd Street and North MacArthur Boulevard.

In the Deer Creek area in Edmond, fallen trees have become a hazard on the roads, and firefighters in the town responded to fallen power lines.

Also in Edmond, high winds blew debris and tree limbs across much of the green at Oak Tree Country Club.
