Court documents reveal the state plans to deny bond and seek the death penalty for the suspect in a triple murder out of Chickasha.
22-year-old Jacob Mayhugh is accused of shooting and killing his mom, dad, and sister in Chickasha with a rifle he bought in April and then left the scene.
According to documents, in an interview with detectives, Mayhugh said he planned to commit other acts of violence.
On May 11, the Chickasha Police Department received a 911 call stating that there were shell casings on the front porch of a house near South 6th Street and that possible bodies were in the home, according to an affidavit.

When authorities responded to the home, officers discovered an AR-15 in the entryway of the residence that was later found to be purchased by Mayhugh, the affidavit stated.
Three bodies were found in the residence with gunshot wounds, according to the affidavit.
The affidavit confirmed that the victims were identified as Patty Mayhugh, James Mayhugh, and Shayla Mayhugh.
He is currently being held at the Grady County Jail. A court date has not been set yet.
