Two people charged following the overdose death of a Stephens County resident have pleaded guilty to their involvement in a "drug conspiracy," court records say.

According to the office of US district attorney Robert Troester, who represents the Western District of Oklahoma, Joanie Ann Wilson, 38, and Reecy Ann Bench, 21, have pleaded guilty to purchasing and distributing fentanyl which resulted in the death of a Oklahoma man in 2023.

In a press release, Troester said this case is in federal court because Bench is a member of the Choctaw Nation, and the alleged crimes occurred within the boundaries of the Chickasaw Nation.
