Oklahoma Shakespeare is celebrating its 40th season with performances of "A Midsummers Night Dream".

Cast members Paxton Kliewer and Bellah Crawford joined us on the Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages Porch to talk about the upcoming show.

This production has a few different takes on the Shakespeare play. The play normally set in the 1500's, is set in the 1960's in Oklahoma Shakespeare's version. The costume for Kliewer's character, Oberon, is inspired by Jim Morrison. Crawford's character Puck is typically a male role, in this version, it's played by a woman.

Later this year Oklahoma Shakespeare will put on productions of Macbeth and Hamlet.

Tickets can be found at okshakes.org or purchased at the door before the show. Tickets for kids 12 and under are free.
