Norman Music Institute Shares Details Of Upcoming Seminar Featuring Well-Known Drummer On The Porch

Norman Music Institute is hosting a free drum seminar on Friday night with a high-profile drummer.

Dean Brown, the owner of Norman Music Institute, said Gregg Bissonette, the drummer for Ringo Starr and other musicians, will teach the seminar and share insight into the music business.

Brown said the seminar is for all ages and experience levels and he hopes everyone can learn something.

"Come and ask him questions and learn a lot, learn some new tricks," Brown said. "There's gonna be a lot of technique and a lot of improvising, but also it'll include, you know, life skills that are so important within the industry."

Brown said the institute is thrilled to bring in such an experienced drummer and he hopes people will be inspired by him.

"This is the real joy for us is that we get to bring this level of player to get to sit as close as you and I are right now," Brown said.
