The Oklahoma History Center Museum is kicking off 2025 with interactive exhibits, family-friendly festivals, and celebrations for its 20th anniversary.
A new exhibit, Oklahoma Sports Heroes, highlights legendary athletes like Jim Thorpe and Patty Glasso with interactive activities for visitors. “You can throw, test, and see how you might be a sports hero in Oklahoma,” said Deputy Director Sarah Dumas.
Festivals this year include March’s Farm to Table Family Festival, featuring hands-on activities with animals, cooking demonstrations, and tastings and October’s Folklife Festival, celebrating cultural traditions. The museum is also partnering with OETA for special programs and offering a variety of workshops and lectures.
