Using herbs from the garden, Sassy Mama shares her recipe for an easy and delicious seasoning!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup fresh basil
- 1/2 cup course sea salt
Instructions
- Prep: Preheat oven to 225 degrees.
- Prep: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix: Add all of the basil and salt into a food processor or high powered blender.
- Mix: Blend until completely combined, take the lid off and scraping the salt and basil around as needed.
- Spread: Spread the salt mixture on the prepared baking sheet.
- Cook: Bake in the oven for 30-40 minutes.
- Cook: Mix the salt around after 20 minutes and return to oven.
- Cool: Allow the salt to cool and then store in an airtight mason jar.
