1 Hospitalized After Crash In SE Oklahoma City

One person was taken to the hospital Tuesday morning after crashing onto the football field of a high school in southeast Oklahoma City, police say.

Oklahoma City Police said one person was driving around 3 a.m. when they crashed into the Southeast High School practice field near South Santa Fe Avenue and Southwest 53rd Street.

OCPD said the driver of the vehicle had been injured due to a shooting prior to the crash, and may have been attempting to drive to the hospital.

The details of the shooting are not yet known.

The driver was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
