News 9 Presents “Maximizing Your Money”

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – For many Oklahomans, money is tight, and budgets are strapped with the rising cost of goods and services. On Thursday, Sept. 19 at 8 p.m., News 9 will air “Oklahoma’s Own Originals: Maximizing Your Money” to provide viewers with tips on how to keep more of their hard-earned dollars in their pocket.

“Higher expenses are an issue impacting nearly every family in our state,” said Kylie Frakes, Executive Producer of Special Projects. “Our goal here is to provide viewers with practical tools and tips they can use to get the most out of every dollar they make.”

In this 30-minute special presented by McGuire Capital, we’ll sit down with CBS News business analyst Jill Schlesinger to talk about managing finances, including answers to viewer-submitted questions. We’ll share how you can start a plan for your financial future, practical advice for parents teaching their kids about finances, and how to handle unexpected medical debt. Plus, we’ll look at the state of the national and Oklahoma economy and how legislators are trying to help.
