Tulsa County prosecutors charged a man accused of hiring two others to burn down a house he rented but then changed his mind about living there.

Investigators say Matthew Moreland rented a home near 21st and Lewis in August and paid a nearly $5,000 deposit.

He says he called a few days later, had changed his mind, and wanted his deposit back, but was told it was non-refundable.

They say Moreland contacted two men to burn the house so he could move into a different home he'd leased.

The affidavit says surveillance video showed someone getting dropped off at the house, and 10 minutes later there was an explosion in the garage.

Investigators say phone records and warrants said those two men were Jason Conley and Jason Threadgill.

All three are charged with arson and conspiracy to commit a felony.
