Multiple Injured In Bus Crash In Oklahoma City Neighborhood

Multiple people were injured after a bus collided with a truck in a southeast Oklahoma City neighborhood.

According to the Oklahoma City Fire Department, nine people were treated for minor injuries. One person was in the pickup truck and eight (including the bus driver) were on the bus. Police say that six people were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

The scene is near Southeast 27th Street and Walnut Avenue.

The cause of the crash has not been released.

EMBARK released a statement:

"An EMBARK Bus was involved in an accident at the intersection of SE 27th and Walnut on December 31, 2024, at approximately 2:45 p.m. Six people including the bus operator were transported to a local hospital. The Oklahoma City Police Department is investigating the cause of the accident. EMBARK is gathering more details and cooperating fully with the investigation."
