Wood-Burning Stove Sparks House Fire Near Lake Thunderbird

A house caught fire Monday morning in Norman, according to firefighters.

Firefighters say the home is located along 144th Avenue Northeast near East Tecumseh Road, on Lake Thunderbird's east side.

According to officials at the scene, the fire started from a wood-burning stove, which spread to the rest of the home.

Firefighters say the family inside the home made it out, and no one was harmed.

Fire investigators say the home is a total loss.
